Billy Hill Horsemanship and Roping Clinic

This article is to tell you of an outstanding horsemanship and roping clinic held at  Randy and Tina Reids’ 5R ranch in Bend Oregon, this past week-end.  Perfect  weather and an arena groomed to perfection made for a very pleasant clinic.

Lunch and evening barbecue were provided for all.

My hats off to Billy Hill, horse trainer extraordinaire, who teaches roping success through horsemanship.

I was privileged to witness this two day coaching clinic and in the words of those who attended, “it was AWESOME”!  Twelve students and twelve different success stories.

I was impressed at the amount of information given, the demonstrations and the knowledge gained for each student and what each one was subsequently able to accomplish with both their horses and their roping.

What they learned, many ropers don’t get in a life-time.  There’s a big advantage for a roper to gain the skills to know when they are making it happen and know how to correct it when they are not.

There are now twelve Team Ropers who can get their horses to do what is necessary to make winning runs and allow each one to rope at their highest potential.  This, in my opinion, is true enjoyment.  You won’t want to miss the next clinic.

Billy’s profession is training horses of all levels at the Bill Hill Quarter Horse ranch in Merrill Oregon, just south of Klamath Falls.  If you would like information you can reach him at 541-798-5323.
